Andrew Jones is a highly experienced metallurgist with more than 20 years’ experience in operational, engineering and testwork management roles within the mining and resources sector. He has worked across a broad range of commodities, including gold, lithium, uranium, rare earth elements, mineral sands, base metals, PGEs, aluminium, manganese, vanadium, scandium and iron ore.

Andrew has held senior technical and operational roles, including Demonstration Plant Manager, Hydrometallurgy Manager, Commissioning Manager and Senior Metallurgist. His experience spans test work management, piloting, process design, commissioning, metallurgical accounting, geometallurgy, engineering studies and operational leadership across both laboratory and site-based environments.

He holds a PhD in Hydrometallurgy from Murdoch University and brings strong technical expertise, combined with practical operational and project-delivery experience.
